Default Suspended

I picked the car up today from the Stasis install. The tech set it on the comfort setting, and I must say the ride was firmer than stock but not harsh at all. I think it's more compliant than the TT and definitely less jarring than my girlfriend's MINI. I do believe I'm going to enjoy it.

This was the closest before/after I could find:

Sorry about the after picture, but it was dark by the time I got home.

Anyway, this was the first time the tech had installed the RS 4 suspension, and he raised it as much as he could without, as he explained, causing undue tension on the springs.

I took some measurements from the bottom of the wheel to exclude tire type or wear, and this is what I got:

Front

Rear

Another alignment will be in the cards in a couple of weeks, then we'll try it out at VIR.

I have mine set at 26" on all corners. How can yours be at 24". My set up looks lower and sits at 26" ? In any case you will see some settle over the next few weeks.

Default I measured...

from the bottom of the wheel itself to hopefully exclude any difference in tire height due to wear or type.

The settling is why I'm delaying the alignment for a bit. What settings do you like on the dampers?

Default This measurement in front on a stock vehicle is 24.5"......

In any case, that's not what is stopping me now. With 4 kids, private school, and my educational funds down almost $100k, toys are definitely on hold now since I'll be using cash to pay tuition.
