Default Sway Bar

Has anyone put a front or rear H&R/Hotchkis sway bar on a B7 yet? Wondering how well handling is improved?

first mod i did on my '07. i have front and rear on stiffest setting and i think it makes a huge difference. car feels more stable at higher speeds and under cornering.

No issues w/ cracking the hanger brackets? Just curious as mine are on their way, should have them installed by the end of the week. Did you run w/ the rear set on the softer setting for a while b/4 having set to the stiffer option? wondering there is a substantial difference between the two.

It seems from the reviews people love the Hotchkis sways when on stock DRC, but go back to stock sways when on Stasis MSs/SLs.

That's good news as I just had my DRC replaced so no plans on moving to coilovers.

no issues so far. when the weather is cold the bushings squeak a bit. they can get annoying, but a bit of grease fixes that.

I would not run a different setting on the front v rear. i would run them both on the soft or both on the stiffer setting. I tried the softer setting for a couple of months and then went to the stiffer one and I have not changed back. i love this mod and I think it is a reasonably cheap way to really improve the feel and handling of the RS4 (compared to a full c/o set up).

I have KW Ver 3 coilovers AND Hotchkis sways.

Don't buy the front, you don't need it. And MAKE SURE you use Loctite on the rear bolts or they WILL fall out! I guarantee it!!!!!!!!!
