Default It is a great color. Think about the maintenance plan, unless you have

already done so.

Default when did you buy it?

I bought mine a year ago, no I don't feel robbed. First on the block, euphoria in the market, low availability, you get the idea.

Default Where do you live? You won't get any $$ off in Greenwich

If you're a dealer out in wherever, I suppose they might want to move the car.

Default I called around several dealers

Nobody in town was willing to give me a discount so I had to call a dealer about 4 hours away in a smaller city. I also happened to know someone at the dealer which helped. Every other dealer (even the dealer in chicago that I purchased my S4 from) was not willing to budge on the price - not even by a few hundred dollars.

Weird - it sounds like they only expect to get a few of them and plan to sell them all at list. The dealer more out in the country (its relative) said he has only seen 1 RS4 in the last year. I assume he could get more than he actually sells. Just FYI.

Default It is very regional...

So you could have saved $2000, but you might have needed to ship your new car across the country and deal with other hassles (like no loaners, possible shipping damage, etc.) if you purchased from a non-local dealer. In the end, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Besides, the $1000 you "over-paid" has probably been a good investment since you will have enjoyed your car for several months longer than the original poster.
