There was new MMI software posted here a few months ago that removed the lawyer screen and added...
a mute button. I don't know if the dealer now has this and will be willing to install it, but you can easily download and burn the CD/DVD to update it yourself. Search this forum and it should be easy to find. If you already have the mute button and no lawyer screen upon startup, then you already have the updated software.
