Default Thinking about doing Euro Steering Wheel.....

1. What is total cost of wheel + airbag unit?

2. Where can I get it?

3. What functions do the +/- buttons on the Euro wheel serve?

4. Can the wheel S button be made functional

5. Thanks

Default Answers...

1. I paid $1200 for both wheel & airbag. ETKA lists each at ($867.26/$752.51).

2. I orderd from Tommy @ Rivalmotorsport. GMG Racing (amoung others) can do the same.

3. "+/-" toggle thru computer screens/functions on dash (don't remember the order).

4. When properly recoded for use, the "S" button on wheel replaces the functionality of the one on the dash. The dash button can be used for other purposes, if necessary. (I pulled mine, replaced with different button/icon & serves as a mute button for the V1.)

5. No problem

Default Mute button for V1-nice. How did you do this?.....

Sounds like one would have to tap into the internals of the V1 unit. Who did the work?

Call Ryan at ICS. I did my STaSIS at ICS and Ryan was great. Did you ever get the STaSIS and the HRE M40 you were posting about? Post up some pics would like to see how those big tires on the Monoblocks sit with the car lowered.

Default Probably next spring for suspension and wheels, but star607 has them both now

I'll do wheels in Silver, however. ICS kicks ***!!!<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/98003.phtml">https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/98003.phtml</a</li></ul>

Default I don't see the move foreward...I use the phone functions everyday....

...Nice aesthetically, but I personally would feel a great loss in function. One of the nice things about this car is the overall function! I would not give the functions up for free...much less for the cost involved!! Have fun! Like you said..nice to have such a versitile car. :-)

Default I don't end up using the phone functions that much.....

Mostly, I find myself just answering calls, and you don't need the controls for that. The Euro wheels is thicker and significantly smaller than the US wheel and it feels so much better in hand.
