Default Thinking of selling/trading my Phantom Black RS4 on a '03 GT2...

RS4 w/ carbon/PP has 4950 miles on it. I'm in the SF bay area. I just installed a resonated version of the Milltek catback which I'd probably remove and sell. Just a feeler to see if anyone would be interested the RS4.

I haven't decided. The GT2 has been modified to 530 hp. The car is absolutely insane, loud, rough but man is it quick. It almost gave me motion sickness when I stepped on it in 2nd. The RS4 is so civil in comparison, not that being civil is bad by any means. The fact that it is such a great all round package is really making me hesitate. But if I can work out the numbers, get a good price for the RS4 and a good deal on the GT2, I might just do it.

Default can't argue with that decision...

The GT2 is pretty spectacular.

Default The only reason not to do it would be

if you don't have another daily. I'd imagine the GT2 would be a bitch to drive around on a daily basis on the hilly and pot holey streets of SF.

Default Do it and don't look back

The RS4 is a great car but the GT2 (996 I'm assuming) is in a league of its own

Default Test drive it in rain.

Car is pretty much unusable. Or better, tell the dealer or owner that you want to drive it in the rain and watch their face.

Default Re: Good think in doesn't rain too much in San Jose...

Pretty much never from May to November. I have a Touareg for poor weather driving. No question the car will be very dangerous in the rain.

I own a wicked 2002 GT2 that I'm thinking about selling. I havent' dyno'd it, but it should be doing more than 530hp. It's a beast with GIAC's Hammer software, GMG exhaust, custom boost tubing, Sachs Racing clutch kit, includes a full blown Moton/GMG/Eibach suspension, and has a ton more upgrades like full carbon fiber interior, c/f mirrors and radiator grille, roll cage, techart formula wheels, leather roof lining, etc. The suspension was installed by GMG and is a massive upgrade. Let me know if you're interested.
