Those idiots left the suspension blocks in my RS4 - arrrghhh!!
I just checked based on Thumperer's photos (thanks Th). Each of them are on the car, all four points, and they are all yellow.
I can't believe they are so freaking stupid. I asked them specifically if they did this and the dealer was so freaking clueless.
My question is this, with 150 miles on the car, has this done any damage at all? Is it just a matter of taking the car into my local dealer (different dealer) and having them remove them?
Damnit, I knew the car felt way too smooth. It wasn't until today I questioned it because yesterday on the ride home my mind was way too preocupied.

I think what you may be seeing are the dust boots on the dampers.
I just took some pics of mine...if these are suspension blocks, I don't want them taken out, the car handles great!

Funny enough..
After I posted that I re-looked at Thumperer's pictures and realized they are not the same thing.
So I just went back out and looked again and realized I was probably mistaken.
Then I came back in here to find your post and indeed, what you show are exactly what I see.
Sorry Town Motor for doubting you
Thanks Bob for helping me clarify this.
I think I am just not used to the ride, it feels much more dampened than my S4. You had a B7, what do you think? Wasn't the B7 a slightly harsher and more communative handling feel?
I'm not talking about responsiveness, just road-info..
Then again I've barely driven this car yet. I might be undergoing sensory overload from all of the new aspects of it. Frankly I still can't believe I am driving it.

Well based on your pics, where would these blocks be?
I shined a flashlight under there and I see basically what you show in your pics, nothing more or less. So where would these blocks even be?
From the look of your photos I am guessing that is the rear wheel?
Thumperer, can you draw a marker on Bob's picture and repost showing where abouts these things were positioned?

damping feels about the same as the S4 on level road...
...but remember, the RS4 has DRC...the S4 doesn't. So it doesn't get 'unsettled' as much on uneven surfaces, nor when pushed through corners.
It definitely feels lower than the S4, though. I noticed that the first time I sat in it.

Heheh..
Luckily no stalls today, but hey there is always tomorrow!
I am wondering though, how many folks just start right in 2nd gear? Sometimes 1st seems useless if I know I won't need to slow down at all for a while.
