those with JHM short shifter, did you use the four metal bushings? I didn't, was I supposed to?

Default those with JHM short shifter, did you use the four metal bushings? I didn't, was I supposed to?

adjusting was a pain but i got it. the adjusting video helped alot. but i didnt use the bushings that go under the rails to raise them up. it didnt look like they where going to work even if i did. would have raised it up so high that the uper 6mm allen would have hit on the top of the rod canal, as well as made it all tight to move back and forth.
it all works smooth now but just a little lower then stock.

Yes...maximizes the short throw reduction. Using the bushings makes it 40% shorter vs. 20% without.
