On my RS6 i used recaro brackets and they came with a airbag resister that eliminated the airbag light coming on from the seats being removed. if i go with a bracket such as wedge then does someone make the resisters?

Start here...
...you'll find some discussion on this subject & acouple of RS4 owners that have done this conversion.
Others can chime in.<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/rs4b7/msgs/77417.phtml">CLICKY</a></li></ul>

Re : aftermkt seats
I put recaro sport toplines in my RS4 and used the recaro resistors for the side airbags. You'll still get an airbag light from the passenger seat weight sensor. You can buy the sensor from Audi but it only comes as part of a complete seat cushion rebuild kit at a cost of over $500. I spent hours trying to find the right resistor value to disable the light with no success. I was in the process of getting the guts out of a wrecked S4 seat to pull the sensor and wiring out when I sold the car - that would be one solution but a piece of electrical tape over the light is easier and cheaper.
