Those of you who bought the tire wheel warranty/insurance, does this cover curb damage?

Those of you who bought the tire wheel warranty/insurance, does this cover curb damage?
So here's the story. I parked on my friends' driveway and I didn't notice the curb (this is after drinking a few bottles of beer). The damage/scratch is like a quarter of the circumference of the rim (and yes it is really visible like a quarter inch wide and maybe 3-5mm deep). I'm not sure if this is also covered. Anybody here had a success in having it replaced similar to my experience? BTW, I have the GE Elite Warranty. TIA!

When I was buying my car they asked if I wanted the insurance and I asked the curb question.
I was told that curbing is not covered and that if I ever did curb a rim and want it covered under this program that I should claim it was a HUGE pothole.

The t&w warranty DOES NOT cover curbage....
just put that wheel in the front and aim for pothole. They will replace your wheel with a brand new, factory wheel for FREE if your wheel is bent!
