You may want to speak with a friend of mine in a very similar situation. PM me your details and I can connect you guys. IMO things are better left off the public eye while you are in talks with AofA.

Agree, this is not the forum for discussion of a potential buyback. This is a serious legal issue. I am no longer an Audi owner and, as part of my agreement with them, I am not allowed to discuss details of my situation. My experience with Audi was positive overall. I now own a 2009 E90 M3 sedan.

General advise is to discuss with Audi directly. Do not post details on this forum, as it is not advantageous to you.

Speaking in generalities, the discussions should be private between you and Audi of America (AofA). Posting here does not benefit you. Document your issues. Be well versed in the laws in your jurisdiction. You may wish to retain counsel, although not mandatory. Most automotive manufacturers (including AofA) are willing to engage you in meaningful discussions if the vehicle in question has non-conformity issues. Options will be offered and you need to consider all of them. I did. Most manufacturers want to "make it right" and AofA is no exception. AofA worked hard to "make my vehicle right".

I wish you well. I hope you are able to resolve your issues. I miss my RS4. When right, it was an amazing and superior vehicle. I love my M3, but it is not an RS4. I actively chose an RS4 over an M3 in the summer of 2008. My M3 is a second choice, but one that is currently working for me.

GodSpeed.
