Default Tire shopping...(cross post)

Here are the choices I am looking to buy:

Sumitomo HTR Z III
Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
BF Goodrich g-force T/A KDW NT
Dunlop SP Sport Maxx TT
Continental ExtremeContact DW

opinions???

Depends on your intended use. Right now I'd suggest a dedicated winter tire But if it were me, I'd wait a few months until the new Michelin PS3 becomes available in our size. That tire is off the charts performance-wise.

Thanks. I am looking for a Summer tire (not really driving the car now). I have heard many conversations about PS 2s (and 3s). I am trying to determine the price for performance ratio.

Can't make any recommendations as I have stopped running performance tires now for my cars and sticking with all seasons for them for summer use (including the RS)

It all depends on what you want the tires to do. Personally, I felt the RS4 can benefit from the stickiest non-R rated tire possible and went for the RE-11 a few months ago. Couldn't be happier as it even performs well in the wet.

I have looked at those but I need to buy a set of snows and rims as well so I may get these next time. Thanks for the suggestion, more than one person has stated your sentiments.
