Default Is it an over-pressure warning ? 48-50 psi sounds pretty high...

What are the tires supposed to be inflated to ?

Default 50psi!!! ?WHAT? I think 41psi is max no? Depending on usual occupency? 39-41?

Check the inside of your driver's door, there's a sticker.

you know I had the same problem, except that only the right two tires had that pressure, and the left ones were within normal range.

Default i don't really understand how it works.

i've had my pressures get down to around 32psi, and the warning never went off....i suppose because the pressures were ALL low. i don't know what the threshold(s) is/are to activate the system. i do know that the system in my bimmer worked well when i had one tire with a leak.

Default defer to the dealer, they pay for your warranty - not us...

dont deflate of inflate, just drive it in

Default i don't understand it either. prob something to do with where they were at when you "set"...

...the pressures. or maybe you never have. the system isn't designed to use a default pressure. i think they are allowing for variances based on what tires/wheels you're using and how you like to run.

so you are supposed to inflate to desired psi, then "store" those values in the TPMS. and then some variance from your "stored values" is what triggers the alert.

at least that's how i understand it.

41 psi on all 4 wheels is spec for the car. 51 psi is max for Pirelli PZero tires.
