Default Titanium pkg or not?

Hi everyone. For those '07 RS4 owners, would you have opted for the Ti pkg IF it was available for the 07's?

I do like the Ti wheels on some car colors and blacked-out trim, but I prefer the CF interior trim and the non-darkend exhaust tips. I wouldn't spend $2K to change my wheels out for the smoked ones though...considering the Ti pkg was only $750. I think that was a good optional pkg for the relatively low price.

BTW...can one duplicate the color of the smoked wheels for less expense, but still get OEM quality? Thanks.

I am guessing the individual pieces were painted?
A good body shop should be able to match the paint code and create the same effect.

Does anyone have the paint code?

I had wheels powder coated before a complicated 3 layer and clear coated. cost me $100 per wheel.

Obviously it would cost money to mount and dismount tires/remove-re install TPMS sensors(if needed).

Wasn't the Ti package with dark-blackened trim, exhaust tips, wheels (on the outside?). Was the grill also blackened/darkened?

Cheers

Nick

The Ti package was not an option when I ordered my '07, at least not to my knowledge.

I think the package looks great too, but the only critical parts to me are the wheels and the mirrors. Everything else would blend fine. Both could be redone much easier than replace (paint wheels and mirrors) and for much less $$$.

You're right. The Ti pkg was not offered in '07. I agree. I wouldn't pay two grand to replace my wheels for Ti pkg wheels!! The front grill can be easily replaced though...not too expensive.

Yes. The front grill trim and window trims were also blacked out.
