After messing up my oem Continentals and oem wheels on the track I am now in the market for inexpensive track wheels.

This (above) is looking like the best option but there are only 3 avail and I don't want to wait. Anyone been down this path and have other suggestions? (I'm posting in the wanted section too for used)

I think I want 18s to save on the price of rubber and weight.

I have a set of these wheels and use them as my winter set. As mentioned above, they are relatively light weight, strong, and they look really good. The design is such that one can see the rotors and calipers very nicely. Also, the darker color goes well with titanium package cars. They also bolt right on...it is hard to find wheels that clear the brakes. Can't be beat for the price. Hope you can find a complete set!

someone named mickf29 just bought some. He may be able to help...but they're sold at a number of vendors. I think the wheels are made in the UK so you may have to wait 2-3 months for new ones, or just find some used (quattroworld classifieds have a set pop up once in a while)

I actually just reached out to tire rack to inquire about 18x10 wheels that will fit an RS4. No one makes anything in our lug pattern and offset. Literally there are like 3 options and they weigh 25lbs and cost 1200 a wheel. That seems pointless.

There are pictures floating around of a white RS4 with Orange Enkei 18x10.5 wheels that he uses as his track setup, but he had Rotiform redrill them for him. I can't imagine this is cheap, but honestly if you are looking for lightweight track wheels in 18 that's probably your best bet. I wouldn't do 18x8.5, at the least stick with 9" wide...but if you really want an increase in performance you need to go wider (10"-10.5")to take advantage of wider tires, larger contact patch and wider wheelbase. I have read and experienced that street tires generally perform best when used on a wheel that is towards the upper limit of their width recommendation. So 275 tires on a 10in wheel will outperform the same 275 tires on a 9in wheel due to less sidewall flex (and sometimes more square and larger contact patch depending on tire). If you plan on running stock 255's then you want a 9.5in wheel, if you want to run 275's get a 10-10.5in wheel. If your getting race tires then it probably won't matter as much since they won't have much sidewall flex anyway, but I would think you would still want at least a 9" wheel so you can run 275 tires.

TDR (Team Dynamics Racing) Pro 1.2 9x18 ET15 rear, ET20 front would be great. Or ET20 all around, which would be the flushness of stock wheels + 10 mm spacers (since 9mm doesn't exist).
