Trying to fit winter wheels/tires-help please
Hartmann cant give me a straight answer, and their website offers conflicting information; tirerack seems to offer wheels with 35mm offset, which seems off.(OE is 29mm I belive). Can anyone tell me what wheels fit this car properly?
Id prefer not to use spacers for fear of issues, maybe my fears are unfounded?
Hartmann RS4-DTM dont make my list due to styling and difficulty to clean.
Basically, what else is available in 18", Hartmann, BBS or similar that fits? Wont some of the BBS wheels with 35mm offset look pushed into the wheel wells too much, even if they do clear the brakes?
If all else fails Ill buy OE 19".

Re: Trying to fit winter wheels/tires-help please
I was in your predicament and ended up buying stockers for $360 a pop, also added TPM sensors. I didn't want to risk getting heavy cheapo knock-offs from Tirerack or any of the others you mentioned. Tirerack's offerings didn't appeal to me, one of the few that did was 35lbs! And in a yr or sooner they can and will likely be discontinued, good luck finding one should you need it down the road.
For the climate that I am in, 19's should be just fine. If you are going to use the car in deep snow and have planned multiple skiing weekend, then drop to 18. Try and locate the part number for the 18" wheel offered on the Euro RS4 and try sourcing those... Just my $0.02

I did factory wheels
I picked up a set of factory replacement wheels as I didn't want to do the spacer thing. I picked up an identical set of 19 in Titaniums (prior to the price increase) and I got them from Riverside (they are great). I got TPMS sensors. I ordered my Dunlop 3Ds and had them mounted up at a local dealer. You can still get the 19 standard (non titanium) wheels around $360 per. The 18 inch wheels are listed in the catalog that the order rep has, but I am not sure
The only Hartman wheel (IIRC) that fits without spacers is the the RS6 replica, the RS4 DTM replica, and the S5 replica.
I live in metro Philly and am not concerned running 19s in the winter, even when it really snows. If I lived in central Maine, well maybe the RS4 is a bad choice, but for most real world snow driving you will do great.

BBS CH and CK sizes
Some guy in Mass is selling a set of 18" CH's with TPMS for $2000 on the wheels forum.
I just bought a set of 19" CK's cause I wanted the look of anthracite. Greg at TireRack told me that 18" CH's fit but CK's don't...19 is the minimum for CK's.
