Turns out I need spacers on the Hartmann replica 19s for my winter setup..............
They've got the tires, the Dunlop 3D winters, suppossedly mounted and ready to go, but a small issue with clearing the front callipers....Going to have to go with some spacers.... ....Like I said, not too much snow around here, and for those big storms....Out comes the 4x4....Expecting our first white stuff next week, and most likely I will not have the wheels here by then.....In retrospect, I could have had the stock rims within 4 days, and I prob would have gone that route......If these things show up and don't fit...It'll be a real pain in the A$$ to get them back.....Not to mention, sillyboy will become angrydude...

Yeah.....gotta be real careful with wheel fitments.......
Unfortunately, other than trial and error, there is not a great way to tell if a given wheel will fit. Offset isn't really helpful since it tells you nothing about the spoke geometry which is the real issue with brake fitment. The one measurement that helps is the dimension from the mounting face to the inner edge of the spoke at a radius equal to where the brake caliper would sit. Good luck getting anyone to get you that information, however.
