Default Two weeks, still no car...

So the Black Stallion has been in the shop for two weeks today waiting for the part for the hydraulic suspension to come in from the Fatherland. I get a call from Audi USA last night saying if I had any questions to give them a call. Any thoughts as to what my questions might be? Total horsesh!t if you ask me.

Default Questions for Audi USA

1) When will my part arrive?
2) Why aren't these parts stocked in the US?
3) How many of these components have failed in other cars?
4) How will you compensate me for the lost usage of the car that I'm making payments on?
5) How will I know that the repairs are performed with the proper quality?
6) How can I be assured that this won't happen again?

I suggest that you ask for an address to send a formal letter for the records, also.

Default i had the same suspension problem.

plus a bunch of other stuff. i wrote letters and complained and finally after working through the service manager at my dealer, got the regional service rep to "compensate" me for the lost time (21 days total). it's been over 90 days and haven't seen a dime yet but it's being "processed", they say. so be a pain in their side and they'll (reluctantly) cough up. and rightfully so. good luck!!

Default Re: What kind of suspension problems?

I had noticed a rattling noise coming from the right front area of the car at low speeds, sort of like a screwdriver rattling around in a plastic tray. I had actually thought it was a piece of the undercoverings that had come loose or something, but I had been unable to see anything. According to the dealer, the problem was a hydraulic valve that had failed and was causing the vibrations in the system.

That was a joke that you would understand if you were here once upon a time.
