Default Update to "check engine light"

Picked up car from dealer and according to the records, "Fault found for P2015 intake manifold runner signal"...and 2 hoses were replaced coming from the intake manifold that were showing cracks. A check valve and clip were also replaced under warranty. The techs notes indicated that these were checked and found to be from Bulletin 2012844/1.

Default Vacuum hoses showing cracks already? How many miles on your car?

I wonder if they're susceptible to excessive heat due to location. The check valve being replaced makes sense because with a vacuum leak(cracked hose) on the wrong side of it, dirt can get into the valve.

Default Hmm, well...

turbo A4 vacuum hoses used to disintigrate pretty quickly, and not only those on the hot side near the turbo.
