Actually it is welded to the chassis in some places, it would have been a real PITA to paint it black so I decided to paint it Brilliant Red as the car.

BTW, I'm not using enamel paint but the same paint as the exterior including clear coat.

I know it's not an RS4 but I don't know what it is and/or "was" and what you've done to it and would love to know.

I assume it's a race prepped A4 but all I have to go on is your sig pic.

I don't know how thorough it is. It might contain certain threads not really related to my car but with 15 pages forth of threads it seems pretty complete.

As for actual specs of the car, what would you like to know specifically?

The car is not a race car, not yet anyway but more of a weekend track car. Next year I might enter Solo one or Solosprint events but that's strictly running against the clock.

Basically after the last ACNA event last fall I decided the car was way too fast to be driven on the track without serious protection (roll cage) so I decided to make it safe.

Just for reference in my last ACNA event at the end of September I was lapping faster then an instructor/owner of a R8 with the same R compounds. We were on the track at the same time and we were going at it throughout 3 sessions together. Considering my car is 120 to perhaps 150 down on HP when compared to the R8 it's pretty amazing. The handling and braking of the car is simply amazing.

This winter major motor mods are going to be done to it and hopefully the HP rating will go up substantially.
