update! salesman is picking up my car at the port TOMORROW.
dealership is 10 miles from the port, so he's going to pick it up and drive it back to the dealership. unfortunately it's a 200 mile drive away from me, so it's looking like I'll take delivery Saturday at the earliest.
also of note...no AFS lease/finance rates are available yet :-/

yeah...did you order from Cavender?
evidently there was some screw-up with my order (still not sure if it was the dealer's fault, or just the factory prioritizing the XM-equipped cars) but I found an available RS4 through Momentum Audi in Houston, and so far they've been much more communicative. This despite the fact that I've bought 3 cars from Cavender, and placed the order for the RS4 over a year ago....go figure.
