I ordered the window kit in black today, but it is not in stock so have no clue how long until it arrives. Then I need to do the clear corner mod and get rid of those reflectors. Anyone in Washington State who is interested in doing 2 cars at once? Could be good to have a spare set of hands and knock out two in a day.

Default Its not the camera

its the fact it is really damn dark here at 6pm, and my garage lighting is terrible. But its an apartment, i am not investing in it to take pictures. Will get some better ones tomorrow.

Default wow so many interested parties in my high techparking system?

Let me generate a parts list and supplier data, see if I can work out the discounts for a group purchase as well.

its a double deep garage, with a bunch of tools and storage in the front part, so naturally I don't want to tap my car into anything, and like to have max space up front to pop the hood and so on. No point in investing in anything special in an apartment you know.

Default Damn...

I dont' know what is up with my camera, it is brand new Olympus 8080. 8mp. I took some photos this morning in the normal light, and they are all turning out grainy. I checked the settings and it is taking at highest reslution. I took in auto and manual modes, messed with the setting, f/l, shutter speed, and they are still turning out grainy. Wonder if the image sensor is going bad? Would suck since this is a 2 month old camera.

Default check to make sure you haven't manually set the ISO to something high.

That would cause the noise in the images.

Try re-shooting in the daylight with it set to 200 or lower.

Default Thanks Brianja...

I checked the settings and they were set to 200ISO in manual, and in auto I would assume they are corrected auromatically? Anyways I went out and took some more photos this morning in brighter light and still have the issues. I am going to call Olympus about it this afternoon. Funny all the vacation pics I took underwater and etc all turned out great, and I haven't changed anything in the settings since except moving from macro underwater mode back to auto.

I just took some pics with a friends camera here at work and the quality is much better, despite being a 7mp point and shoot. Am posting up now.
