Default Updated x 2: Two weeks....

Got the car back this afternoon after two weeks and one day in the shop. Everything appeared ok until later this afternoon, and then I heard the rattle again under the right front, and later I pulled into the garage and opened the trunk, no trunk light again. I immediately called the service writer and told him what was going on. It seems pretty clear to me that there are bugs in the cars unfortunately. I am extremely dissapointed because I waited almost a year to get the car and it's exactly what I wanted with the exception of all of the shop time. Dammit...

I had a trunk light fixed at the last service and today I noticed it was not working.

Default Well, for now, turn up the music so you won't hear that rattle

and go red-line the hell out of it for an hour or so. You'll feel better.

gg-
don't feel bad. i've a tranny (yet diagnosed) that won't shift into any gear when cold, windshied washer fluid container that leaks everything out within 30 seconds causing the warning light to go on in dash, and the newest, all the lights went out in the readout between the tach and speedo. going in to svc next week. my expectation however, was to expect issues as is a first year production car.. in general, i'm extrememly satisfied w/ car overall. i'm stock except the stasis girls installed thier motorsport kit & had windows tinted...

Default took them 4 tries on mine

they didn't even realize it was the suspension until the 4th time my car went in for the same rattling noise. if that makes you feel any better.

one thing i noticed on mine was that the rattling noise seemed to be more noticeable after the car sat for a while, like first thing in the morning. that's why the techs would test drive it, hear it and make adjustments, and as the day went on, the noises went away. they'd think they fixed it, give the car back, and immediately the next morning, i would hear it again!!??
