Default V1 Hardwire?

The coiled cord to the ahstray port is just OK, but the cord clutter is a nusiance, too. Can anyone recommend a custom install for an only moderately handy owner.

Default 34 minutes and ticking. . . not a good sign

j/k.

I'm a dumba$$ given that I don't know how to install the hot wire within the front of the fuse box. . .

Just pull the upper right fuse (garage door opener fuse) and wrap the bare wire around the right (fused) leg of the fuse, making certain the wire cannot touch the left side. This way, if your V1 or it's wiring has a short, the fuse should blow before your car melts to the ground.

Default Many thanks.

It actually only took me 20 minutes or so. Once I was able to borrow my 4-year old's plastic knife from her kitchen set, it made the hide-the-wire step much easier. Thanks, again!!!
