Default Way to Go Fluffhead! Any one in Colorado want to do some friendly runs in their RS4 and my S4?

Of Course once our mini ice age is over and things thaw out a bit. I give a lot of props to Fluffhead for going for it. It allows us to learn a lot about our cars. Clearly the RS4 is an awesome machine.

Default let's see... stock RS4 vs. a science experiment. Are there any stock parts on your car?

With all do respek, I'm sure your S4 is very impressive, but what is the point of such a race? Our cars are bone stock with the exception of an exhaust here and there. Your's on the other hand has more $$$ in mods than the actual car is worth. I'm sure your car would beat an RS by a length or two... maybe more. If we gave a crap about straight line drags, we'd own something similar. Regardless, have fun with Fluffhead. Hopefully, you guys will have a good, close run.

Default A glance at my obnoxiously long sig will tell you what is stock in my car. Don't be so negative

for all you know my "science experiment" could be way out of wack and your stock RS4 would trounce it. I think Fluffhead proved what the point of doing some runs would be. High altitude would make it a bit more interesting.

high altitude would give you an even greater unfair advantage.

Default you never know until you try it.

From the testing below, and the vid it doesn't sound like the stage 3 B5 is that much faster. It may 'feel' faster than it really is due to the huge amount of torque.

Default don't play dumb.

you know your ecu can regulate boost to compensate for altitude. with no boost to regulate, a NA engine is at a significant disadvantage.

what would be the point if your car is "out of whack"?
