Default I think you made the right choice. I wish...

BMW would realize how many loyal customers they have lost because of Bangle. They may have gain somewhat of a new clientele but they are the fickle buyers that will switch to the next out there Merc with no thought. I'm sorry...americans shouldn't be designing german cars.

Default The only real advatage that BMW has going for it nowadays is

The free comprehensive maintainence plan similar to the old Audi Advantage that will no longer exist for the 2007 models. Plus some high performance/high priced M series V8s.

Know how you feel. Just took delivery after 5 BMWs with 2 M3s. No regrets, amazing car.

Default Point well taken.

BMW has built up a reputation that does make them more desireable to the masses. Not necessarily the better car, but more of a status thing.

Default I think we might see a change in the not too distant future...

Who's going to buy the 2nd hand bangle bmw? A friend of mine used to worship bmw's until he got a job as a mechanic at a dealer. He said they don't build them as well as they did 6 or 7 years ago...said he wouldn't even buy a new one, too unreliable.
