Default well...i drove the thing. my thoughts inside!

I was able to put the rs4 through its paces at the Philly SOT event. Do not ask me how i was able to pull this off for i will not devulge this information on audiworld...but i will thank AOA a million times over.

anyway the car...After I am introduced to the various employees they lead me to an Avus silver RS4. I give it the walk around and absord the moment. I open the door and fall into a familiar cockpit, buckle up, disengage ESP, then hit the S button. On the first lap i took it easy, then gradually picked up the pace. throttle responce is razor sharp but i wasnt able to experience the full on acceleration due to the nature of the auto x course (the entire track could be done in second gear) turn in is much sharper and you can really feel the 255mm footprint the car provides. Understeer still rears its ugly head but not in the "death to all humans" manner that the s4 does. When driven correctly the RS4 remained very neutral, balancing traction from front to rear like nothing i have ever driven. Hairpin turns require cutting wide, braking hard to bite the front tires then nailing the throttle with the wheels in the desired direction to provide a nice even 35 degree drift. The RS4 has taken any faults or shortcomings I had with my S4 and completley obliterated them. Now I just need to decide on color.

btw how did you guys like my impression of the cheesy american car journalist?

Default Black trim?

I noticed that the car has the black trim around the windows instead of the chrome and the same goes for the grill. got any info about this?

Default Titanium package which apparently isn't an orderable option just yet.

Default the you only had stage 1 of the esp disengaged, there is another 'level'

I am pretty sure the states gets the 2 stage ESP 8.0 stuff. But I am not positive.<ul><li><a href="http://www.audiclubgoldengate.org/index.php?page=features&amp;feature=16">Check this out for some info..</a></li></ul>
