Default Well, I guess I am not getting the Revo software. 2 calls over 2 days with no call back from 3zero3

Has anyone here from Denver area dealt with 3Zero3 or better yet had the Revo software installed by them?

Let's just say I am not impressed. I called looking to get answers about whether or not they have staged software that would benefit my catback and downpipes setup. First person I talked to said that there is a "Stage 1" that might be suitable for my RS4, but would have someone call me back. I waited a day and did not receive a call back, so I called and someone else who seemed to know a bit more but was obviously not the expert seemed to think that there is only one rev of the software. He said that it adds noticable throttle response down low and more HP in the upper RPM range and that there are a couple of people who have purchased it. Again he was going to have a more knowledgable person call me today, but again no returned call. I think the owner is Trevor who used to work for Zev back when he owned Avalon.

Default I bailed on the idea too, at least for now.

besides not having time to do it this week, the whole thing still seems a bit squirrely.

Default I was really excited about it...

but didn't go through with it. Moving this week, so time was really tight and i won't be back in town to visit them if there is an issue. Where I moved to now there isn't a local shop that does it...argh!
Plus, they wanted to keep my car for most of the day...probably wanted to take it out for a joyride. Homie don't roll with dat!

Default Too bad you are not in Seattle, would love to help you out.

There is only one version of this software. It will adjust to your mods in the same way that OEM software has adjusted to them.

Stage II typically is for people running without cats, or cats that throw CELs.

If you can share with me your ECU number, I will do little more research.

Default Should take 30 minutes.

Keeping the car for the whole day seems excessive. You can always tell them - no joyrides and note mileage.

Default The revo guys told me that there were two versions depending on your ECU type...

either ending in a A or F. You can locate that number by checking with the VAG-COM looking @ the 01 engine control module. Number starts with E

VAG-COM - top right corner. Should say something like "8E0 909 518 AF"

Default Yes, there will be a file for each ECU type.

So if you have the A box, you do not want the F software on it.

Once I have the full number, I can look into it some more.
