Well today my son got bored and blacked out my side orange indicators

It looks great and you can't even tell that its tape. This should hold over till i have some time to paint them. I believe someone with an avus used black tape too. Here are some pics:

My next "paint" project is the following:
I love how the front end looks on a black car with the black optic grill. However, the window and trunk trim is silver, and unless I change them to black also, just changing the front would aesthetically just not sit right with me. And...I don't want to change out all the trim. Not money well spent IMHO.
Solution:
I decided to go ahead with the black optic grill. To carry the silver trim aesthetics to the front, i've decided to paint the lower plastic piece on the front air dam silver. It is subtle, but it will do the trick. Since it is essentially a flat piece, it will mate nicely with the flat silver trunk trim.
Now I know this may seem ridiculously **** to some, but, hey....it's my car. Plus, acording to Avus owners, silver is worth a few hp, right?
