RS4 (B7 Platform) Discussion Discussion forum for the B7 Audi RS4

Went to the dealer today to pick up parts. They tried to talk me into trading my B5S4 for a B7RS4.

Default Went to the dealer today to pick up parts. They tried to talk me into trading my B5S4 for a B7RS4.

It was Ibis white and actually very nice. I told him if it was available with tiptronic or DSG I'd seriously consider it. Of course, they would have to come down from the 91k they're asking for it too!

On the sticker it said Ibis white is a special order color. Is that true?

Default I'm in Hawaii. They have a 15k dealer markup shown on the sticker.

They did show the $2500 for the special color so that seems in line. IIRC, the breakdown was

66k MSRP
4700 premium pkg
2500 special color
15k dealer markup

There's a few thousand missing there which I don't reemeber but I remember the total asking price was $91k. Crazy. I'm not considering it anyway since I want to get away from a manual and find something automatic but it's just crazy what they are trying to get for this car.

I wonder what it would cost to have a car shipped from the mainland to HI, not 15k right?

Default There are several people here who can get you a car at MSRP or better...

and you can have it shipped for under $1,500. The a-holes charging the $15K mark-up can still service the car for you.

Default CBS4 is one...

Lots of great people on this board, but I can personally vouch for this one:

Christopher Bearman
Director of VIP & Executive Sales
European Delivery - Certified Audi Brand Specialist
Carlsen Audi
1730 Embarcadero Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303
P: 650.856.6300 x118
F: 650.856.2337
C: 650.888.2236
E: christopher.bearman@carlsenaudi.com
W: www.carlsenaudi.com

I looked up shipping quotes and they were closer to $1200, although I have no idea what all is involved.
