<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/112358/noplate.jpg"></center><p>i think it looks great..other might disagree..
regarding mounting and balancing though...i might be a little paranoid, but i think i feel a bit of steering wheel wobble at high speed now..dont know if it was there before but i guess the only fix is to have the wheels rebalanced, or just tourqe them properly to the car...anyone know how tight with a tourqe wrench will suffice?

I need to see what those look like on Avus.
I haven't been able to find anything else that I like better than those wheels....at least nothing that isn't custom-made and triple the price.

just to clarify (one more pic)

i had the stock wheels refinished and powdercoated by WheelsAmerica
its a local wheel refinishing company that does a ton of work
car was in the shop getting minor touchups so i figured there was no better time
unless you have a spare set of wheels, or can wait a week with your car on jackstands, this option may not be feasible for most

thanks...and pretty reasonably priced as well
especially if the other option is a completely new set of wheels
having the wheels refinished like this will cost roughly $700 door to door including, unmounting, remounting and balancing

The best way to mount wheels on the RS4 and most Audi's, b/c of the hub design, is to center the wheel on the hub and torque while the car is still up on the lift or jack (2 people would be best). I know that most like to lower the car first before fully tightening, but the Audi hub design can cause a vibration that way. I've had the vibration issue as well after someone other then me mounted the wheels, but after following this method no more vibrations. Still, it could be a balancing issues and not a hub issue.
I don't know for sure what the torque is on the RS4 wheels, but on my B6 S4 the proper torque was 89, I always go to 90, a lot of shops go to 100 which was too much.
