Shame on you if you don't drive this wonderful car in the rain, ice, or snow! It's the perfect foul weather daily driver car IMO.

HA...that was pretty funny.
There is some weirdness going on with those numbers. TT 2.0 is faster than TT-S which are both faster than TT-RS? B8 S4 isn't even listed. The truth is that 90% of these lap times have more to do with the driver than the car, so saying RS4 is 2nd fastest is probably not as accurate as saying the driver in the RS4 was the 2nd fastest. But still cool to see.
It's raining here on the east coast like crazy today and I was ripping down some back roads...I couldn't imagine a C63 or an M3 being anywhere near me in these conditions. It's so damn stable even when it's wet in the twisties,I love it! Still accelerates hard out of corners with just a hint of wheelspin. *** end gets a little loser too, it almost feels like the car is faster in the rain, haha.

I actually saw an Impala and Mustang racing on the opposite side of the road as me in the downpour. I guess they hit a puddle and the Impala rotated about 40 degrees into the Mustangs lane. They both slid off the road into the trees doing about 100 so they'd be pretty lucky to survive that. Guess I'll find out on the news tonight! Hoorah for Quattro!

Thats very weird, seems a bit dodge if you ask me:
RS4 : 1:27.5
R8 4.2 : 1:29.0
S5 : 1.29.8
RS3 : 1.30.7
TT 2.0T : 1.31.0
TT-S : 1.32.6
R8 V10 : 1.33.4
TT-RS : 1.37.2
R8 GT : 1.37.7
Ok, RS4 in rain can be fast yes, faster than a R8, suppose maybe he wasn't pushing as hard, and they are very close times, so fine. S5 must have been going at it hard. RS3, sure ok, 1 second behind the S5. TT 2.0T also fine there, pushing hard to be close to the S5. Is a bit lighter and more nimble though. Here is where things IMO get a bit dodgy: TT-S, TT-RS, R8 V10 and R8 GT all slower than a 2.0T TT, really?????

It makes sense that the more powerful cars wouldn't be as fast because they can't get the traction. RS4 is heavy and power comes on pretty smooth, less TQ than v10 R8. I don't think it's that odd really. The 4.2 R8 is barely faster than an RS4, so in the rain it would def come down to grip.

To be honest I don't necessarily believe the ranking either but it's cool the the car got the recognition. In the end, the car really doesn't get the creds it deserves.
