what are the best all seasons tires for my 08 RS4
Obviously performance is a key ingredient here but I will need some light to moderste snow traction for the winter. I'm nesr philly so the weather doesn't get that bad...

I thought these were very, very good all season tires on my 07 RS4.

Thanks. I've read some dishearting reviews about the noise level of the tires. In one instance the person went to goodyear and thought there was something wrong with them they wee so noisy.

I'm running the Yokohama ADVAN S.4. on my RS -
but I am running them as summer tires because I wanted quiet, longer life, and the ability to use them should I get an unexpected snow in the mts in the fall.
I run Dunlop 3Ds for the winter and so should you if you really need to depend on the car in the winter. You can get some serious snows there in Philly (does not happen every year - and the same for the foothills here in Colorado, in fact we probably have better weather most of the winter than you do)

No surprise but not many choices in 19"
Michelin Pilot A/S 95Y in 18 are very good, not
far off from PS2's and wear much longer and are a lot less money.
For the street very minimal difference so they make an excellent all season choice for an RS4 if you got 18's. Many drivers couldn't even tell you if they were riding the A/S or the PS2's from performance POV

no, not so many options
I'll probably go with the Yokohama ADVAN. Had them on my 07 S4 . My wife has a 328 xi with pretty good all seasons just in case. On another note, what's it like driving on winter tires. Just curious, never driven on them especially on a high performance car.

Right, some tires are just noisy be poor design
still, the tread of a winter tire doesn't isn't designed for quiet operation.
I've used winter tires, even studded(for FWD) and they do a great job in heavy snow and ice. A good all season tire on an AWD car will get by fine though.
It's a choice of whether you really want to go with the whole 4 extra tires/wheels setup.
