What can i expect from a bad DRC
What are the signs and symptoms? What can I expect other than the clunking in the furture? does the CEL activate at anytime? I've seached the forum and found some stuff, but any other info would be greatly appreciated.

angst and disappointment
clunking, knocking. usually starts in one of the front shocks but can progress to involve the rears as more fluid is lost. It will be worse when cold.
The car will also get floaty and tend to wander on the highway. Not floaty like an '88 Lincoln Town Car, but smaller slight undulations that upset the stability of the car. It is a weird feeling.
The CEL light comes on when you get the dreaded carbon build up, as I have seen, but not with the DRC.

A functioning DRC provides crappy handling... a bad DRC provides crappy handling and a leak.
Of course this is just my opinion that I formed while flogging the car around a track.
