First off, I drove my first RS4 today with much thanks to RI RS4. We met up in his beautiful town of Narragansett on a bright sunny day. As he pulled up in the dolphin grey machine the sound was simply awesome. As we drove a number of windy roads I could tell this was one very impressive handling car. Much tighter than my B7 S4. Then we pull over andI am handed the keys....I couldn't believe it.......So what did I think????

Right away I noticed first gear is actually usable.....That is one complaint about the S4 I have. I get almost nowhere in first unless I stomp it into the red hard.....The RS4 was unbelievable. The engine.....incredible how smooth it was. The car is easier to drive than the S4...begs for speed even more, and is as tight as I can imagine. The sound....just awesome.......

On my way back down the cosat I could not imagine how i would ever make it to Dec 11th, the delivery date for my RS4...THEN the phone rings...it is a RI number, so I think it is my new friend calling me to ask what I thought of his car. To my surprise....it is my Audi salesman....the RS4 is on the boat!!!! Inspected 9/18/06 loaded and shipped with a VIN and all...Estimated dealer delivery is week of 10/30. A month ahead of what i was initially told...
You fellow RS4 owners a fortunate, for after driving this car I certainly would have been forced to poach one of yours.......The car seemed everything and then some, and I can not wait to break this in and push it..........

I think I have seen RI RS4's car at Inskip. Love those fender flares and the exhaust note. Pure sex.
