I have been thinking about the M5. Negative comments about the look/style of the car are unnecessary. black or titanium are the only colors for that car, IMO.

I am pretty sure I am going to order a M5 for spring delivery, don't want to take delivery during the winter not that there is much winter in the SE. Anyway, I initially thought about saphire black, indianapolis red, silverstone ii, and silver gray. I saw an indianapolis red M6 in person and just thought to myself not a very good color, it just looked too much like a bad domestic color, not the imola red or the other red from the e39 m5, those were much better. I will probably go with either silverstone ii or silver gray.

I went with silver gray paint on my M5 but for what it's worth, I did go with Indy Red interior. Love it. You will love the M5 if you decide to go that route and that is good price. The only real reason to go with an RS4 is if you really like the looks (I think it looks better) and if you really need quattro. Otherwise, the M5 blows the RS4 away in nearly every performance category.
