Default i have a silver on silver, didn't choose it (picked up off dealer lot)

It gets noticably dirtier quicker than a darker color leather. However, with simple materials such as baby wipes, it can be cleaned rather easily. If not anything else, it has revealed to me how dirty my other cars that have black seats must be since I clean those much less often because they don't look as dirty but they clearly must be just as dirty.

Default I read how they show cracks in the leather more. I was seriously considering silver when

when I found out that the extra cost for tan was US$14K. I went black and not sorry at all

I have it on Sprint Blue with Ti package, IMO the best combination, love the two-tone door insterts and the black piping. I think on Ibis it would look nice as well.

With that said, maintenance on it will be a PITA (though if you are a car buff you may consider that regular maintenance). I just spent last weekend cleaning the seats, headrest and doors (basically everything). Still unsure what the best solution is, I used a new Audi-approved/branded Foam Cleaner, worked better than my Lexol Leather Cleaner in taking the dirt off the front end of the seat, but felt it left the leather a bit dry, and I didn't like that is has a scent, which means alcohol, which means drying agent. I will quickly apply a leather conditioner/softener to restore the freshness of the leather.

So at the end, you will 'pay' for the aesthetics with higher maintenance, but to me it was worth it.

Default That's what I have...

I love the look but have a couple of "regrets".

Somehow I did not recieve the black headliner I requested and the side bolsters on both front seats are cracking very noticably and I only have 16k on my car in 2 yrs.

Default Do you think that is a 'warranty' repair item?

Say in another yr when it becomes even more noticeable? My car is an 08 and has some signs of wear (I wouldn't call it cracks, it is basically the leather creases that are showing around the seat side edge and side 'shoulder' bolsters.

BTW, as far as the white headliner, I bought this Foam Cleaner and it did very well on the driver side window liner, took away a couple of stains I had.

Default Try Leatherique for your leather cleaning/conditioning

I bought a used M3 a couple of years ago with the dove gray seats, they were in decent shape but dirty. Leatherique was awesome, cleaned out the dirt that made some of the natural leather creasing even more visible.
