Default What kind of tool is used to remove the under e-brake plastic trim piece?

<center><img src="http://audiretrofit.googlepages.com/RS4StartButton015.jpg/RS4StartButton015-full;init:.jpg"></center><p>Mine started creaking again so it's time to gummi pledge (or felt tape) it to prevent me doing something far more damaging to it with my shiny new ping rapture driver.

The goal here is to remove the piece without indenting the plastic console surround, or damaging the piece itself. Any ideas on how go about doing that?

Tried that already, no go. How did you compress the side plastic retaining pins/clips?

Just be a little more forceful...it shouldn't break (I take no responsibility if it does)
