Default Does this mean...

...you will either replace or resurface your rotors prior to using Carbotech pads?

"...if you have had another manufacturers brake pads on those same rotors; then you will ABSOLUTELY have to replace or resurface (turn) those rotors before installing the Carbotech brake pads".

Thoughts?

Default Why are the Carbotech pads so special?

I didn't have to resurface my rotors when I changed to Ferodo pads.

You really should try Pagid brake pads rather than CarboTech. They come in several compounds and are known for being "kind" to rotors. Try northstarmotorsports.com, they have most of the compounds and there are both front and rear pads available.

Default I don't know why they say that.

I had a set of Carbotech pads for auto-x on my old TT, and I would swap those with Mintex reds for street. Never had to turn the rotors once.

Default Order direct. Their customer service is excellent. Otherwise www.purems.com ...

and talk to Mike Kim who also is VERY well regarded on this forum for providing lots of help free of charge to forum members.
