What weight Mobil-1 are you guys using? I'm a little low and not ready for the 5k yet...

I changed mine at 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 0w-40.

Dealer changed it this week at 2.5K and used 5w-40 Mobil One.

5W-30 - that's the only oil that meets the VW spec in the EU RS4 manual

Default Average drive distance in Europe is shorter than US
So they like to spec lower weight oils to better protect the engine during the warmup period.

I use M1 0w-40 in the Porsche with no problems. I was a Syntec fanatic until I did some research and found it was not a TRUE synthetic. I have tried the Redline in the Audi but could not see anything different that justified the price.
