No, the M5 is in the A6 size range. It competes with RS6.

Default TJ: how is the RRSport?

I go home and drive my moms RR and enjoy it, Been looking around for bigger cars and the RRSport is definatly on the list, havent gone for a test drive yet. I am alittle disapointed by the #'s it puts up though, is it faster on the street than just plain 0-60 #'s in car mags? THat and you dont like owning slow cars do you?

Default BMW doesn't make a car that is comparable to the RS4.

a 4-door M3 would be close, but it won't have AWD, and it won't be available until 2009 or something.

Default Re: TJ: how is the RRSport?

It's a great truck. Very smooth to drive, comfortable, and looks great. I am a very non-SUV person, but the RRSport really appeals to me. You should drive one, it doesn't feel like any other SUV I have driven (except maybe a Cayenne Turbo). I feel it handles better than the Turbo, but obviously doesn't have that kind of power.

I bought it to tow and didn't buy it to blow people away on the freeway. That said, it has plenty of passing power and will surprise you for its size. I have not driven the HSE version, but I would guess that feels somewhat ponderous. The supercharged version has some kick.

My feeling is you can never go by 0-60 numbers, or even 1/4 mile times. It's all about the butt dyno feeling when you stomp on the gas. And in that respect, my RR satisfies me for what I bought it for.

Default a RRSport isn't a truck.

you tow a trailer with that thing? if you were in Texas, people would point and laugh.

Default no, that just means they've been compared.

Road & Track has compared a F-16 to a Ford Cobra, that doesn't mean they're comparable vehicles.

Default Well I say truck to differentiate from a regular car...

And yes, I do tow a boat with it, and I live in Texas.
