Default winter wheels: b6 s4 Avus?

Does anyone know if the 18" 8J avus rims from a b6 s4, with 43 mm offset, will work as winter rims for the rs4? thanks in advance...

it might but you will need around 15-20mm spacers depending on suspension/brake clearance

Default The actual difference is 27mm on the outside edge

going from a 9" wide 29 offset to 8" wide 43.

Default thanks and follow up

thanks for your replies... I found a spacer from H&R that looks like it would do the job:

Is there any downside to using spacers, e.g. decreased mounting stability or something like that? would anyone recommend against this setup for an rs4? thanks again...

spacers are fine, just make sure you get the proper length lugs
