LOL. I dunno. Yes the RS4 can hide its speed when cruising on a straight and well paved surface, but to say that the car doesn't give great steering feedback and information through the suspension and driver's seat seems ridiculous. And then to compare those traits to an STI, which I've driven and really does feel like an Atari car or a Passat, well that is just downright foolish.
I wonder if this ***** even drove the RS4?
The Atari Car - Cars to which I refer as "Atari Cars" are a modern phenomenon. They are cars that feel like a video game. Atari Cars are immensely capable - they can often out-perform supercars without even breaking a sweat. And that lack of sweat defines them - they shrug off insane speeds and laugh at corners. Nothing unsettles their suspension. They're so good that the driver has no idea how fast he's actually driving. These are cars like Audi's very own RS4, a Mercedes E63 AMG, Bentley Continental GT, and, to a lesser extent, cars like the Subaru WRX STi.
Funny considering they're reviewing the new TT which by default sends 80% of torque to the front wheels (in the 3.2 Quattro configuration at least)...

http://www.automobilemag.com/reviews/coupes/0705_2008_audi_tt_coupe_roadster/</a

this is what happens...
when you have yuppie college grad airheads on auto magazine editorial staffs. they're often computer nerds who transfer that mindset to the car world. ignore them and stick with the guys who talk nuts and bolts.
