2005.5 S4 - Trouble logging in with VAG-COM.

I was assisting a friend of mine with his B6 S4 the other day and odly enough I was only able to access the instrument cluster block with VAG-COM. I have never experienced this before and was wondering if others had a similar experience.

Are you using a "Twin" version cable?

No, serial cable.

I have neverhad any issues with any other B6s before and I waswondering if something different was done on 2005.5.
