Default 2005 S4 Engine Dying Issue

Hi, I searched and only found a few post kind of like the issue I'm having. So here goes.

My S4 starts up without issues if it's been sitting a while. I can drive it back and forth to work without issue, but if I stop off to pickup something from the store on they way home. I get back in the car about 3 minutes later, it starts with no problems, but about 3 to 5 minutes later, it dies, cuts out completely. When I try to start it back up, It sounds like everything is working but it just doesn't fire up. If sometime passes (I usually end up eventually killing all the charge in the battery trying to start it backup) and I jump it, It fires right backup and its good to go.

I installed a new fuel relay switch and had the alternator belt changed (wasn't sure if it would help, but it was about time to change it anyway)
The only other thing that has changed recently was that I had an Alpine CarPlay stereo installed.

I'm at a loss as to what to check next?

Default Alternator?

Go and get your alternator tested. It sounds like it is running off the battery until it dies. Normally electronics start to diminish as the battery drains and you also get a CEL but you never know. The fact it starts right up with a jump makes me think its the alternator.
