3.0 coil failure @ 26.5K mi (10/01 build date). Dealer replaced all 6 while I waited.
 

Only glitch to date. Overall (since new) fuel efficiency now up to 23.2 mpg. 3.0QMS.

Checked out the RS6 and A8L while I waited (no S4). I may skip the S4 and go straight to the A8 for Audi #6. Elegant car.

I did before I got rid of my A4 3.0.

Audi stepped up and took car of the problem. the problem created by , oh no, not Audi, but their coilpack supplier (bosch, i belive).

Yep. Got the letter. Was going to wait for the 30K service.

When I went for my oil change at 5000km, they replaced my coilpacks also... I have 03 A4 3.0

doh! that sucks....you were so close! were you stranded in a bad spot when it/they failed?
