Anyone Here Have A Flipout Media Player In Their b6?
 

Looking to get an alpine iva d300 for my s4. Wondering if anyone has a flipout here? Any good online places to get one? Pics?

In case you don't know, make sure to get one of those "black box" off Ebay.
 

The Alpine has the built in safety feature that keeps the video off when the car is moving. Which also limits other Audio controls on the D300 (I had one and returned it). Basically you'll have to have some switches to simulate depressing the brake pedal, pulling the E-brake up and releasing the brake pedal for the video to work. The "black box" basically does all that for you. It's what a lot of stereo shops have connected to display models.

No problem. I liked it's features and the touch screen was kinda neat.
 

I returned it because I didn't really want to spend retail for it. It would get minimal use because my Alpine 9815 CD HU has much better SQ. I'm not a big mulitmedia person so I was only getting it for shows and the rare occasion someone else would be driving my car while on a long trip. I'd watch movies then, but when I'm driving they would be out of gas. :-p With that being said, no need in me spending $1500 for something I would hardly use. I will get one later though when I get it much cheaper. I had bought it back when the firsttttttt came out. .

I think you would like it. You can turn off the touch vibration too if you want. It's a nice A/V HU.
