Just FYI,home equity line of credit from Audi Bank entitles you to a refund(credit toward your priciple loan) for any purchases from Audi, cars(lease or purchase), parts, service, etc.

It is a nice feature to have for Audi owners. They call it HELOC rebate program.

I am unable to get the details on how this works from the rep at Audi Bank who has not called me back.I have two questions:

1. Can the rebate be used to buy a car leased through Audi that is at the end of the lease?

2. if I lease a new Audi, does the rebate have to go towards what I might put down on the lease?They tell me it can not be applied to the payments.

They have offered me prime + 0 which is better than my current Citi loan.Plus the first 3 months are 2.99%

The rebate can be used toward the lease or purchase of a new or Certified Pre-Owned Audi model or an Audi Financial Services off-lease vehicle. It can also be used for any service, parts, accessories or merchandise purchased at an Audi dealer or online at www.audicollection.com.

The rebate cannot currently be used to make payments on Audi leases or loans.
