Hi all,

I am shopping for an 18 ft bowrider boat and would like to keep my S4. I'm not sure, nor can I find info, on whether the car can tow the boat and/or pull the boat from a launch. Does anyone have any info on this? Pics would be great too.

If the car CAN indeed pull and tow,...does anyone have any recommendations on a hidden tow hitch option.

I know,..lots to ask. Much appreciated.

That's a hitch, but my guess is your boat needs a bigger hitch.

I would say no...below are the specs of a 18" crownline. The max towing of the B6 is 2000 lbs. I'm sure the s4 can tow it, but if you push it and have an accident. And the boat surpassed the max capacity of the vehicle's towng capacity the insurance can backout of the claim!

my boat weights about 5000 pounds, its a23 ft boat. I tow it with a Mercedes ML 500 suv.

dont do it man my friend messed up his car doing this!! so finally he did buy a truck for that!!

Don't even think about it! this would be very dangerous. get an old truck
