Default B6 s4 Ball shifter socket
My shifter moves up and down the ball has up and down play if u lighly push down the ball sags out of the socket a bit anyone know how to fix it or should i just by a short shifter JHM or other?

Default Shifter Socket Ball
I'm in the same boat. Shifter ball & socket is worn out and loose. I might try shimming it somehow to decrease the play.
